The competition is a tool to enhance the cultural and natural heritage of the areas of the Po Delta Park where the production of RICE is an integral part of the local economy of some areas, but not only, all over the world there are areas where the production of this food is an integral part

RICE can be defined as a basic element in the "diet of the world" and is well integrated as an element of union with the theme of EXPO2015: FOOD.
